Voyage through different cultures

Passing Holland by car, bound for Dubai and take the plane Germany for a visit of Reiner. Everything seems well organized (including the traffic jam), people are not looking to each other, every body is busy with his own.
In Germany, on the airport it is even more the same. Arriving in the evening in Dubai –lots of light, rain and an enormous well-organized airport with a wide range of cultures.
The next day we saw that the local construction activities are on a higher level compared with half a year ago; in Holland we think that Dubai is almost bankrupt. In a big shopping mall the different cultures are not mixing, every body is going their own way. In the pub, in the evening, we saw only foreigners having dinner and watching football. No locals, they have their own, separate activities.
Heavy rains, normally Dubai has no rain, disturb the known system and the traffic was absolutely awful, big delays and the normal structure was cheated.
The flight between Dubai and Bangkok was perfect, the new airbus 380-800 is great.

Bangkok is a warm bath (ok, also the temperature!), color full, different cultures, not too organised and every body seems busy with a lot of noise. And they have also congestions in the traffic too. Looking better I saw that they are doing things quite calm, nobody is in a hurry.
The bus to the South is leaving with 30 mins delay and will arrive 30 mins before schedule. (Speed control is not for this bus, he is just passing with full speed). People are friendly here, offering to share food and drinks and offering assistance by making the relevant arrangements. The hotel is booked up, but after some discussions they have a good room available.
Every body is laughing here, even if they are sending you into the wrong direction, isn’t great? They call it sànùk; fun.

All these different cultures make, to me, travelling interesting and by reaching the destination the challenge of the voyage is gone, so keep travelling. I hope I can travel a lot in future; I promise to share this with you.
